The annual National Prayer Breakfast of Canada is a Christ-centred event held by the Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast Group in our nation's capital. The purpose of this event is to come together collectively to honour and continue to hold to our Christian heritage. This allows our elected officials to gather together with men and women from different backgrounds to pray and connect through our shared faith.

The 2023 sold out event was held in Ottawa on May30th This year's National Prayer Breakfast was held in the Beautiful Shaw Centre, overlooking downtown Ottawa and was sold out!

Member of Parliament Richard Bragdon, this year’s Chair of this year’s National Prayer Breakfast of Canada, offered these comments:

“We were honoured to be addressed this year by the National Director of Alpha Canada, Shaila Visser. It was an incredibly powerful talk and if you're anything like me, you'll be greatly encouraged by her message of hope.”



Bragdon continued, “Watching Shaila's talk again makes me incredibly excited for next year's Breakfast and it seems like you are as well, as our super early bird sale sold out in just over 24 hours! But don't worry, we have booked a venue with nearly double capacity for next year and general admission tickets will go on sale in mid-September!
