The Pastor's Mother and the Usher (HUMOUR)

Know dear Brothers and Sister, I am still not all that I should be but I am focusing all of my energies on forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead…. The verse Tim lives by while he finds his way at Teen Challenge.

Homeless, Tim had abandoned a good live as rebellion in school led him to the demons of booze and drugs ending up homeless and helpless.

These vices enslaved him and for years the only warm room and clean bed he experienced was the times he was incarcerated. In 2002 there was light in Tim's life. He had fallen in love and felt true happiness for the first time in many years.

The demons returned and he slide back to his dark past living under a bridge in Toronto. His only concern was where would his next "fix" come from.

He was frightened, lonely and sick when he reached out — cried to God for forgiveness and help. Miraculously, a friend and his father were there ready to help. After a time in detox, Tim's father introduced him to Teen Challenge where he lives today. At Teen Challenge as an intern, he is grateful for his peers his father and his sponsors that pushed him and helped him to know and serve God.
