Darlene Turner wins The Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense!

We are pleased to announce that Darlene Turner, regular contributor to Christian Life in London, has won the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense. The Daphne du Maurier Award is presented by the Romance Writers of America to authors of romantic suspense, mystery, suspense and thrillers.

The contest offers two streams for writers - unpublished and published and then different categories within those. Darlene entered her book into the "Inspirational Romantic Mystery/Suspense" unpublished category.

Each author's submission goes through a round of judging and five finalists are chosen. Then those five finalists are then allowed to add a few additional pages to go on to the final round of judging which consist of an editor of a major publishing house and an agent.

The award was given out at the "Death by Chocolate Party" at the Romance Writers of America's national conference in San Diego on July 14th.

Congratulations Darlene!
